Owen Belsey brings over 27 years of extensive experience in mining and maintenance to his role as Managing Director at Beltech Engineering. Beginning as a mechanical maintenance technician, Owen swiftly ascended to the position of maintenance manager at BHP, where his expertise was instrumental in optimising plant performance and enhancing processing efficiency.
With a global footprint, Owen’s skills were sought after worldwide, as he provided project and shutdown management while developing innovative plant maintenance strategies for optimal reliability, uptime, and throughput. His approach revolves around driving business integrity and consistently pushing the boundaries of what’s achievable in the industry.
Terry brings over 30 years of industry experience to his role as Beltech Operations Manager. Starting as a Boilermaker, Terry has evolved into planning, supervision and management roles, driven by his vision for operational excellence. His diverse background spans government, mining, rail and processing plants, making him a valuable asset in ensuring precision and reliability across various sectors.
Martin Belsey is an experienced mining professional specialising in health, safety, and process improvement. With over 40 years of industry experience, Martin has honed his expertise in managing mineral processing operations, maintenance operations and bulk handling. He ensures operational excellence and safety across diverse mining environments, leveraging his wealth of knowledge and experience. (Dip. WHS, Cert IV Trainer & Assessor, Lead Auditor, Six Sigma Green Belt).
Transitioning from apprenticeship to leadership, he navigated diverse roles across mining, oil and gas and power sectors, refining his expertise in maintenance and project management.
With a passion for draglines and a drive for leadership, he found his fit at Beltech Engineering, starting as a boilermaker and swiftly ascending to Maintenance Superintendent. He brings a blend of technical acumen and natural leadership to guide teams to success, embracing challenges as opportunities for growth and driving excellence and innovation within the company.
